The national hand hygiene initiative is being implemented in acute healthcare facilities across Australia in a bid to halve the rate of healthcare acquired antibiotic-resistant infections.

An online learning package has been created as a simple tool to test an individual's knowledge of hand hygiene and only takes a few minutes to complete.
